EXPLORER POST STARTING UP
A Scouting Explorer Post known as Venturing Crew 1033, BSA is being established in Beltsville. Sponsored by Emmanuel United Methodist Church, the members of the Post will have opportunities for backpacking, rock climbing, caving, swimming, snorkeling, and social events. Ana's Guide, LLC is a new business in Beltsville. Listing child friendly activities, classes, programs and businesses, Ana's Guide provides parents with a convenient resource to find things to do. Ana's Guide features a coupon section and calendar of events section, but skips all the extra articles. FRIENDS OF LIBRARIES WELCOME HELP
Are you able to spare a few hours occasionally to help raise funds to support your library? Active library friends' groups exist for all 18 branch libraries in Prince George's County. Involvement can range from holding office to helping with only one or two projects a year. Most groups meet monthly and all would welcome new members. To contact a local friends' group call the nearest branch of the Prince George's County Memorial Library System.
